A Singer Sings

"When you wake up in the morning, and the only thing you think about is singing, then your are supposed to be a singer." -Whoppi Goldberg, Sister Act 2

I remember watching Sister Act 2 when I was in high school. There was a scene in the movie where Whoopi Goldberg pulls a young girl aside and said, "When you wake up in the morning, and the only thing you think about is singing, then your are supposed to be a singer."These words stayed with me my entire life.

Apply this advice to anything that is on your heart. If something is on your heart from the time you wake up until the time you go to sleep, it's a sign that that thing is for you to pursue. If you are a person like myself who likes to write, then call yourself a writer. If you like to skateboard, then call yourself a skateboarder.
